Directors

Elaine Thomson (Chair)
Elaine is a long-time supporter of Cornerstone and served as MSP for Aberdeen North from 1999-2003.  Currently a SAP Consultant for Absoft, Elaine became Cornerstone's Chair in 2005.

Malcolm Laing (Depute Chair)
Malcolm is a Partner and Head of the Corporate Division at Ledingham Chalmers LLP, one of Scotland's leading law firms. He also chairs Cornerstone's Development Board.

Pam Corray
Pam Corray formerly held the positions of Group Finance Manager and Company Secretary for Stewart Milne Group, one of the UK's leading house builders, and Technip.  Pam is a member of Cornerstone's Finance Committee.

Jim Douglas
Jim Douglas is Senior Corporate Manager with Lloyds TSB Scotland plc and chair's Cornerstone's Finance Sub-Committee.

Pat Foster
Pat Foster has been on Cornerstone's board for 19 years and has been involved with the development of the charity over that period.  Her daughter now lives in supported accommodation provided by Cornerstone.

Susan Moult
Formerly the Director of Academic Affairs within the Charles P. Skene Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Aberdeen Business School at Robert Gordon University and lecturer in Entrepreneurial Studies, Susan Moult is the Director of Aberdeen Analytics.  She chairs Cornerstone's Quality and Audit Committee.

Elizabeth Murray
Elizabeth Murray is a former Education Department Quality Improvement Officer for East Renfrewshire Council.  Elizabeth is active in her community as a Member of the Tribunal Service for Additional Support Needs (Scotland), holds a Ministerial Appointment as an Independent Adjudicator for dispute resolution, and she volunteers at the Citizens' Advice Bureau.  Her sister is supported by Cornerstone.

David Nicholson
David Nicholson is Membership Manager for Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce.  In addition to actively supporting his community through the Rotary and Athletic clubs, David is also a Trustee for Signpost International.

Peter Nicholson
Peter Nicholson is Group Head of Human Resources for global energy services company John Wood Group PLC and a director of Scottish Business in the Community. He chairs Cornerstone's Staffing Sub-Committee.

Dr John Scott
Dr John Scott is a retired hospital consultant.  He is currently Chairman of Crossroads Caring Scotland.

Anna Taylor
Anna Taylor is Senior HR Business Partner for Rolls-Royce and has previously worked for companies such as BNP Paribas Securities Services, Abbey, and Vodafone UK.  Anna is a qualified coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Dr Jim Webster
Dr Jim Webster is a Retired G.P. and a Member of Aberdeen Lads Club Executive Committee. His brother is supported by Cornerstone.

Founder of Cornerstone Community Care in 1980 and was Chief Executive for 28 years, retiring May 2008.
