Without the loyal support of our charity partners, we could not do the amazing work we do here at Cornerstone.

Cornerstone was chosen as the Charity of the Year for John Clark Motor Group alongside Aberdeen-based VSA in 2020. Due to the pandemic the partnership was extended into 2021, and restrictions easing meant we were able to be the beneficiaries of the John Clark Motor Group Golf Day - their biggest fundraiser!

In order to re-invigorate John Clark Motor Group’s loyal supporters – Chris Clark, Managing Director of John Clark Motor Group challenged its participants to an Endurance Golf Day at the prestigious Gleneagles Course. Supporters signed up quickly to this ‘all you could play’ challenge and battled it out to see what team could play from 7.30am to 9.30pm!

“Not being able to have our Annual Charity Golf Day in 2020, we were determined, despite the COVID restrictions still in place, to make up for it in 2021! With thanks to Gleneagles for providing the incredible setting for our Endurance Charity Golf Day. A tiring, challenging but fun 14 hours of golf was had by all, resulting in an incredible amount of money being raised for our two amazing charity partners. Julia Smith and Catriona Hogg from our fundraising team were delighted to welcome all 18 teams at the 12^th tee to cheer them on and thank them in person for their amazing support – each team fundraised online in addition to their entry fees. This day raised more than £14,000 for Cornerstone which will make a huge difference in the lives of people we support with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
