Encouraging people with disabilities to achieve their goals, while increasing diversity in the workplace.
Currently supporting over 40 people with disabilities and additional support needs our Employment Service aims to reduce the very high levels of exclusion within the workplace experienced by many people with disabilities.
Working closely with the people we support, carers and potential employers we identify appropriate work placements for each person and take a personalised approach to allow each individual to achieve their goals.
The service follows simple steps when matching someone to a placement:
1. We work with individuals and employers to establish positions that ensure everyone involved benefits.
2. A meeting takes place to give the employer and employee an opportunity to discuss the position.
3. A Health and Safety/Risk Assessment is conducted at the workplace.
4. An agreement is drawn up with the employer and we provide ongoing support to ensure success.
