Camino de Santiago

Camino de Santiago
Sunday 2nd – 9th October 2016

The classic Camino trail is a 6 day walk covering 115 km (72 miles) of this world famous route through the amazing landscapes of Northern Spain. Along the journey, you will collect stamps in your Camino Passport in order to gain a unique Compostela Certificate at the end of the challenge.

The money raised will be used to provide valuable services to children and young people across Scotland who have a learning disability or other complex support needs.

"This is far far more than a walk and I would encourage anyone to join the hundreds of thousands who have stepped out on it each year for over a thousand years.  Experience quality of life at its highest, and raise money to give the people Cornerstone supports a quality life journey too."

- Alison Chandler, Camino de Santiago 2015 participant

"My absolute favourite parts were the amazing views and the great people I walked with.  They were extremely supportive."

- Sharon Irvine, Camino de Santiago 2015 participant

The fundraising targets for this challenge are as follows:

  • There is a £345 non-refundable registration fee to pay in order to secure your place on the trip;
  • We would then ask that you raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,400 to take part in the challenge.
