The first UK conference for professionals on fragile x 

The conference will be held on Tuesday  19 May 2009 at the Hilton Glasgow and will be the first of its kind in the UK. With leading professionals Dr Jeremy Turk and Dr Mark Hirst as key note speakers the conference will increase awareness and understanding of fragile X syndrome to improve the services and support available to affected families.

We have formed a partnership with the Fragile X Society to host a conference for professionals on the most common known cause of inherited learning disability - fragile X syndrome.

Anyone working in the health and social care field, the field of genetics or anyone who has an interest in learning disability should attend the one-day conference which has been accredited by CORAS as a continuous professional development event.
