One of the main types of support provided by Cornerstone is Community Support. The aim of this particular type of service is to provide care in a way that lets people remain at home with a level of support in areas that are specific to the individual. This means that the support being provided is either within a person’s home, or within their local community. The actual support varies from person to person, but can include any of the following; personal care, help with appointments, meal preparation, attending activities and assistance with medication.
The aim of our Local Care and Support Teams (LCAST) is not only to support the individual within their community, but to bring communities together.
Although the support varies within different areas, the overall aim will always be to ensure that the people we support continue to live a valued life within their community. We are able to deliver a personalised service that is unique to each individual supported by Cornerstone.
