Cornerstone is to host an evening of haggis, pipes and tartan at its fundraising Burns’ Supper at the Invercarse Hotel in Dundee, which will raise money for local vulnerable children.
The black tie dinner will be held on Thursday, January 23, when guests will enjoy a champagne reception, four course meal and entertainment from speakers including Jim Brown MBE, Deirdre Michie and Andy Hall.
The event is being held in partnership with Dundee radio station Wave 102’s Help For Kids charity and all the money raised on the evening will be split evenly between the two organisations.
Cornerstone has released the first batch of early-bird tickets, costing £450 for a table of 10 or £45 for individuals, which can be purchased by contacting Nina Nurminen on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01224 256000.
Lisa Duthie, Cornerstone’s Director of Fundraising, said: “We are looking forward to another fantastic Cornerstone Burns Supper, in partnership with Help for Kids, which is building a reputation as one of the must attend corporate events of the year in the city.
“There is a great line up of speakers and entertainment for our guests and we have some exciting auction prizes which we hope will raise funds for these two local charities.
“Tickets are now on sale and anyone wishing to join us for an evening of fine food and wonderful company is urged to book their tickets quickly to avoid disappointment.
Adam Findlay, Managing Director of Wave 102 in Dundee, added: “This event has quickly established itself as the premier burns supper in Dundee and we're delighted Help for Kids will be partnering up with Cornerstone again.
“Last year was a sell out event and this year looks like it's going the same way.”
