A young man who is supported by Cornerstone was recently honoured for completing more than 100 hours of volunteering work. Corey Baird (22) received the Saltire Award from Voluntary Action Perth at a ceremony at Cornerstone’s office in the city.
Corey has been volunteering with Cornerstone since January 2013 and has put in more than 100 hours of work, carrying out a range of general office tasks and helping to support other members of the team.
Team Leader, Jillian Hotchkies, is very pleased that Corey is being recognised for all the hard work he has been doing.
"Corey has been volunteering in the Cornerstone Perth office since January and has been a great asset, taking on a lot of general office duties such as shredding, recycling and making up information packs”, she said.
“We are really proud that he has reached his 100 hour Saltire Award as Corey is a very enthusiastic young man with a great focus and professional attitude when in the office."
Well done Corey!
