Our Connects service in North Lanarkshire held a summer garden party at the end of August for people we support and their families, using funds which had been donated by staff.
The people we support dedicate a lot of time to maintaining the garden, and this was a fun way to celebrate their work, with over 80 people in attendance.
The highlights of the day included performances from the Connects dance group, singing, and a petanque victory for a young man who was also celebrating his birthday.
Cornerstone Connects services are made for and with the community to support people with disabilities and their families. Working on a local level, each service offers activities and support based on what the people in the community need and want.
