Megan Taylor, who celebrated her 13th birthday today, received an extra special birthday surprise on behalf of Cornerstone and Aberdeen Performing Arts. Megan who is supported by Star Carers, one of Cornerstone's children's services, not only enjoyed Cinderella with her mum and two sisters, she also got to meet Sophie Boyne and Callum Nicol who play Cinderella and Prince Charming after the show.
Mrs. Taylor, Megan's mum, said "It was wonderful that we were able to go to the pantomime for Megan's birthday. For her to meet Cinderella and Prince Charming was just the icing on the cake. She was over the moon."
Cornerstone applied for free pantomime tickets on behalf of some families that are supported by Star Carers as part of the Aberdeen Performing Arts Pantomime Appeal. For the second year in succession, Aberdeen Performing Arts has donated pantomime tickets to local charities.
"We were very happy to add to Megan's birthday celebrations and delighted that so many charities were able to take advantage of our free ticket offer to see this year's spectacular show," said Aberdeen Performing Arts press manager Joyce Summers.
