Star Awards nominations close today

Today is the last day to make a Star Awards nomination. If someone has done something that is above and beyond their role, please submit a nomination so that they may receive a Star Award.

Every day, Cornerstone provides vital care and support services to adults, children and young people with disabilities and other support needs across Scotland. Our employees play a critical role in making a difference to the lives of the people we support, enabling them to lead full and happy lives. Supported by CNR International, the Star Awards give Cornerstone the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the excellent work our staff and volunteers do every day.

We invite the people we support, their family members, volunteers, our staff and supporters to nominate our employees and volunteers for a Cornerstone Star Award.

Nominations will be shortlisted by our judging panel, which includes members of our Board, senior team, key staff, family members and supporters. The top three shortlisted nominees will be informed by letter and invited to our awards ceremony at the Invercarse Hotel in Dundee on Wednesday 3 September 2014 where the winners of each category will be announced. For the top three shortlisted candidates, travel expenses associated with attending the award ceremony will be covered.
