Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire Branch Leader, Robert McKay joined Cornerstone in 2017 and has over 25 years’ experience, predominantly in the third sector, undertaking a range of voluntary, practitioner and leadership roles. His education includes an undergraduate degree in psychology and postgraduate qualifications in training practice and project management.

Robert has worked for four major UK charities; the most recent two in senior national leadership roles as director for Scotland. He has been a panel member with Children's Hearings Scotland, is a former Childline volunteer counsellor and past vice chair of the board of directors at East Park, a charity providing education, supported accommodation and respite to children and young people with complex needs.

Robert has a keen interest in policy and current affairs, is passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable people and challenging injustice.
