What opportunities are available?

Each year the people we support, staff and carers identify projects which will improve our services across Scotland. This may be transforming a garden area to improve access for someone who has mobility difficulties or being creative in a decorating makeover.  Painting someone's room in their favourite colour or helping to build a raised bed in a garden may seem like small changes but they can make a huge difference to the lives of the people we support.

How companies have supported us through volunteering

  • Virgin Media decorated a house we had recently taken over by freshening up the living room and kitchen for the lady we support
  • Barclays created wheelchair friendly areas and raised planting beds for our Summerlee Gardening Project
  • BP have a long standing relationship with one of our services where they have decorated the house and garden and created a strawberry patch for the residents.
  • PWc spent the day decorating one of our Glasgow services and helping out at the local day opportunities group

FACT - 74 of the FTSE 100 companies are supporting corporate volunteering, you can join them.
