It’s been a strange and challenging time for us all hasn’t it?

Imagine how much more difficult it would be if you weren’t able to understand why you couldn’t go for a cup of tea with your friend on a Thursday like you have every week for the past four years, or why your sister couldn’t visit you on your birthday. For people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs the pandemic has been uniquely isolating.

At the same time, we were frightened about not just the effects of Coronavirus on the people we support’s physical health, but their wellbeing too. We want our Support Workers to have the best possible support to enable them to do their jobs, and with your continued support, we can.

Can you go the extra mile?

We’re asking you to Go the Extra Mile with us and help us continue to go above and beyond for people living with disabilities across Scotland. A one-off donation of £20 could help ensure the staff at our services in your area have the support they need to do their vital work supporting people living with disabilities and autism as they transition out of lockdown and adapt to the ‘new normal’.
