I had lost my enthusiasm in my last job and felt I needed a change. I embraced the opportunity to apply for a senior admin assistant post and gladly accepted the role. Nearly nine and half years later, I’ve never looked back and have since gone on to work in several roles within Cornerstone gaining knowledge and experience along the way.

I am currently working as a Training Academy Coordinator which is a very busy role. I am supporting the branches and the organisation to ensure our colleagues are getting the mandatory training that is required to work in a support role. From talking to the branches and understanding what challenges they are faced with on a daily basis I am feel like I am contributing to their overall learning and helping to ensure they have the appropriate skills to carry out their roles. Within this role I am also able to help and support colleagues through their qualifications. I do a lot of the background work which means this is making things easier for our colleagues and taking a lot of the stress away from them so that they can focus fully on the people we support.

It is a very rewarding job and one I enjoy very much. Seeing our colleagues gaining confidence through their training and achieving their qualifications is a really enjoyable experience.
