Investors in People (IIP) has one mission—to make work better. The framework has been developed and refined over 30 years to help organisations, leaders and colleagues to work together to create a better, more productive workplace. The Investors in People (IiP) framework helps us to work towards our strategic aim of being the best employer in social care in Scotland. The framework focuses on three key principles: ‘leading, supporting and rewarding’.

The IIP Standards also help us to:

• Seek feedback, benchmark and review progress to improve our practice, approach, performance and sustainability

• Strengthen our proposition as an employer of choice.

• Take into account the experience, views and feedback of our colleagues when shaping our future organisational strategy.
