Andrew Knight joined the Board in November 2024and sits on the People and Culture Committee. He has worked as a solicitor for 13 years and specialised in employment law for 12 years. He was assumed as a partner of Burness Paull LLP in 2021 and then joined Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP as a partner in August 2023 to build its Aberdeen employment law practice and grow its Scotland-wide employment law team.

Andrew acts for a diverse range of clients including multinational energy companies, large charities, housebuilders, clothing manufacturers, food and drinks businesses and public bodies. He has advised large social care charities in respect of many complex issues and has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law. Andrew regularly mentors younger members of the legal community and is also heavily involved in promoting, and participating in business development and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
