Everything we do focuses on each person we support and how best we can empower them to be as independent and fulfilled as possible. From Lennoxtown to Castlemilk, Knightswood to Baillieston we tailor our care to the person and their needs so they can live well and thrive in their own communities.
We work across the largest city in Scotland as well as the semi-rural area of East Dunbartonshire. Our colleagues support over 100 young people, adults and older adults living with a range of conditions and challenges, including autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health problems, growing older and dementia.
Our care is offered in people’s own homes and/or in small, shared houses located across the branch. These are run by staff who are allocated into teams, supported by a Team Leader and a Service Manager/Project Lead.
We have over 220 colleagues working within our nine community support teams and 20 housing support services. During good times and bad, our social care practitioners give their very best and make a real difference to the lives of the amazing people we support.
The branch leader for Glasgow & East Dunbartonshire is Ryan McCrory.
