Scottish Borders

Within the Scottish Borders branch, our Community Support teams and Galashiels Day Support team provide care and support to people in and around the central Borders.

Community Support covers Galashiels, Kelso, and Tweedbank (care at home and housing support), where we provide support to people within their own homes or living with a family member. We currently provide support to 32 adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

At Galashiels Day Support Connects, we provide care and support to people accessing building-based support with complex needs, learning disabilities, and various health care requirements. We are currently providing support to 30 people. Our day support service also provides day opportunities to people, helping them to access their local communities and to reach positive outcomes. Currently, we employ 60 colleagues in total.

Our Scottish Borders branch is led by Andrew McInnes.
