Gillian joined Cornerstone in March 2024 and comes from a nursing and regulatory background, having previously been an inspector with the Care Inspectorate. She has extensive experience in quality management roles in large health and social care organisations, successfully implementing strategies to enhance and improve service delivery in line with regulation and standards.  Gillian is passionate about ensuring the people we support have the best outcomes by delivering high quality care and support with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning with the ability to foster a culture of excellence within teams.

Gillian’s team includes a Regulation and Standards Officer, three Quality Improvement Officers, two Culture Leads and an Investigation Officer. The team look to drive quality, continuous improvement and learning to achieve the best outcomes for people we support, working closely with services and the people we support to identify what works well, areas we can improve, collaborating on solutions and to embed sustainable improvements.
